We intend to put on a show towards the end of March and we will confirm the date of this event before half term.
There will be no Arts Live activities on the following dates:

The final sessions will take place on 20th December at the usual times.
We aim to offer at least 10 sessions per term. Circumstances beyond our control will sometimes mean we cannot, however during the spring term we will be offering at least 11 sessions plus one performance / exhibition for no extra cost.

Welcome to Arts Live, your local community arts school run by Garforth Academy. Now taking place mostly on a Thursday afternoon and evening we plan to offer a wide range of exciting and fun activities for all abilities & ages (unless otherwise stated). These sessions replace the Wednesday and Saturday sessions that took place last year.

This is a high quality band with an outstanding reputation of regular gigs in professional settings, including The Wardrobe, Chapel Allerton Festival, Garforth Arts Festival. No audition required. Suitable for instrumentalists and singers with grade 5+ or equivalent experience.

Adult steel pan group with performance opportunities
Firstly we would like to welcome everyone back after the summer holidays and hope that you all had a great time.
We will be sending out a letter very shortly to let you know about the activities we will be providing this year. Until that time no groups will be running.

To celebrate this; year 3 and 4 primary students from all 8 of the trusts primary schools have decorated flags which can be spotted hanging from lamposts around Garforth!
We have lots of exciting events coming up in line with the Garforth Arts festival!
Panjumbi – join us on the 26th June at The Lord Gascoigne from 4.30pm – 9.30pm for Steel Pan performances from primary children, Secondary students, teachers (Steel PANTS!!) and the Steel Crazy group. Entry is FREE!
Camerata Vocal Musica Aurea – Thurs 28th June come along to St Mary’s church to see the youth choir perform. This kicks off at 7.30pm and tickets are £7/£5.
Hannah James/Sam Sweeney – Come and witness the SLANIA group perform along with Hannah and Sam at Garforth Working Mens club on Tues 3rd July from 7.30pm. Tickets are a bargain at £8/£6!
Urban Arts Project – AMP are on hand to showcase their skills at this years Urban Art Project event held on Thurs 5th July at The Works Skatepark in Leeds. Tickets are £4/£3
The Playground Party – The big finale for the Arts Festival is, as ever, lining up to be one to remember! Come along to see countless acts with the streetdancers on hand to show off their moves! This is also another chance to see AMP perform. Ticket prices vary and details are on the website.
